Hi, I’m Shiba 🤍

I can’t wait to meet you and welcome you into my space. I love what I do, and my focus is simple: smooth skin, no pain, no shaving or waxing, and no ingrown hairs - so you can feel confident and at ease in your own skin.

I wanted to create a better option for anyone who hasn’t been fully happy with laser results before, as well as those trying it for the first time and looking for an experience that feels calm, considered, and reassuring.

I’ve designed Skin by Shiba to be a space that feels warm, welcoming, and effortlessly relaxing - somewhere you can switch off, feel cared for, and leave confident in your skin.

That’s completely normal. Whether it’s your first time, you’re feeling a little anxious, or you’ve had laser before that didn’t meet your expectations, you’re not alone.
We offer complimentary consultations where we take the time to talk through your concerns, assess your skin and hair, and explain the process so you know exactly what to expect.
Preparation is simple.
- Arrive with no makeup, deodorant, moisturiser, or products on the areas being treated
- Shave the treatment area 24 hours prior to your appointment
- Avoid active skincare ingredients (retinol, AHA/BHA, benzoyl peroxide) on the treatment area for at least 2 weeks before your appointment
This allows the laser to work safely and effectively on the hair follicle.
And yes — our laser is safe to use over fake tan, so you’re welcome to attend your appointment with tan on.
We recommend avoiding intense exercise, saunas, or hot showers for 24 hours after treatment to allow the skin to settle.
The Alma Soprano Platinum and Titanium use 3D SHR Technology, emitting all three wavelengths (755nm, 810nm, and 1064nm) simultaneously. This ensures more effective, pain-free hair removal for all skin types.
No! It is recommended to avoid laser hair removal during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Although there are no known risks, hormonal changes during this time can impact the effectiveness of the treatment.
